The Power Grid

The Power Grid was one of my architecture studio projects. The prompt was to create a student council building at the university that would help facilitate its mission. The Power Grid utilizes a triangular structure and stepped roof to create an interesting section and encourage the roof as an interactive, usable space. The roof is perforated with various skylight shapes that light up at night to create a unique pattern. The insides of the structure consist of various meeting spaces and private spaces that map to the skylights.
